教材分析：
有關職業的詞匯在四年級就已經開始接觸到了，本節課主要繼續學習有關職業的單詞，圍繞factory worker, postman, businessman, police officer. 小組活動為學生們提供了一次很好的與他人交流合作的機會，增強對同伴的了解，鞏固所學功能句。
學情分析：
經過三年的英語學習，學生已經具備了一定的語言基礎和交際能力，并掌握了一些學習英語的技能。他們富有活力、思維跳躍極強、表現欲強。我們在設計教學活動中應考慮學生已有的知識水平，在此基礎上適當拓展語言。對于職業的話題，學生比較感興趣，并且有了不錯的詞語積累，能夠順暢地就這一話題進行交流。
課時目標：
1.能夠聽、說、讀、寫有關職業的單詞和詞組：factory worker,
postman, businessman, police officer.
2.能夠靈活運用句型：What does he/she do? He/She is …談論人物的職業。
3.了解英語中職業名稱對于不同性別的差異，并進行職業理想教育。
教學重難點:
1.本課時的重點是能夠聽、說、讀、寫Let’s learn 部分的四個職業名稱，并能簡單問答What does she/he do? 等句型詢問他人的職業及工作情況。
2.難點是新單詞的認讀與理解。能夠對他人的職業及工作情況作大致的描述：
She/He is…
He sells things/helps sick people … She/ He works
教學準備：
1.準備與本課時相關的單詞卡片
2.教師準備與本課時相關的ppt和錄音帶。
3.教師給學生準備作為獎勵的小禮物。
教學過程：
Step 1:warm-up
1.教師熱情地和學生打招呼問好，做簡單的Free Talk。
2.Sing a song: What do you want to do?
My mother is a teacher.
My father is a worker.
My uncle is a policeman.
What do you want to do?
What do you want to do?
What do you want to do?
I want to be a pilot.
I want to be a postman.
I want to be a scientist.
That’s what I will be.
3.教師展示PPT帶領學生用游戲的方式復習單詞.
Do you remember ?doctor、teacher、nurse、driver、farmer、baseball player.職業名詞也可以和對應動作相結合，把動詞和對應名詞在黑板上逐一呈現出來，如果在復習時加入肢體語言效果會更好。
Step 2: Presentation
1．教師出示圖片或名人照片，問“What is she /he ?What does she /he do ? ”交替問答學生，如“He’s a driver (singer…)”。教師可以補充：“Oh，he is a driver. He often drivers cars. She is a singer. She often sings songs.”
She is a factory worker.（工廠工人）She often works in a factory 自然引入本節課的新知factory worker，然后用升降調領讀，讓學生齊讀，分組讀，板書factory worker。引導學生注意：work(工作)+ er→ worker。
2．PPT展示：He is a postman.郵遞員。postcard 明信片
然后用升降調領讀，讓學生齊讀，男女生讀，板書postman
3.PPT展示：My father is a businessman.商人business(商業)+ man（人） →businessman /businesswoman 女商人。然后用升降調領讀，讓學生齊讀，高低聲讀，板書businessman。
4.PPT展示：My mother is a police officer.警察
policeman 男警察
policewoman 女警察
然后用升降調領讀，讓學生齊讀，高低聲讀，板書police officer
5.PPT展示幾張圖片練習新單詞結識特殊疑問句句型：
A:What does she do?
B:She is a factory worker
A:What does he do?
B:He is a postman.
A:What does your father do?
B:He is a businessman.
A:What does your mother do?
B:She is a police officer.
A:What does your uncle do?
B:He is a doctor.
A:What does Chen Jie’s mother do?
B:She is a teacher.
6.PPT展示幾張圖片練習新單詞結識一般疑問句句型：
A: Is your father a postman?
B:No, he isn’t.He is a driver.
A:Is your mother a nurse?
B:Yes, she is.
A:Is your brother a policeman?
B:No, he isn’t.He is a businessman.
7.播放錄音，學生跟讀，學生通過聽錄音、模仿學習生詞的讀音，注意詞形變化規律，如：-er和-man。利用男女不同職業的圖片，提示學生：postman和postwoman，businessman 和businesswoman，policeman和policewoman，waiter和waitress等，了解英語中職業名稱對于不同性別的差異。
Step 3: Practice
1.教師和學生一起進行活動“快看快說”。
教師同時快速出示一張職業圖片和she, he, 和Sarah 中的任意一張卡片，學生根據卡片上的內容快速說出一個句子，如：She is factory worker.
2.教師帶學生進行“對卡片，說句子”活動。
學生把本課職業單詞卡片正面朝上放在課桌上，隨意抽取一張。教師也從自己的卡片中抽取一張，然后和學生同學說：“What does she do?”教師迅速向學生展示自己的卡片，和教師選同一張卡片的學生起立根據卡片內容回答：“She is a …/He is a ....”
Step4: Consolidation and extension
在小組合作中鞏固生詞，練習句型，教師依次戴上Zhang Peng, Oliver等人物的頭飾，并介紹說：“I am Zhang Peng .I am going to be a postman . I am Oliver. I am going to be a /an…”然后向一名學生提問“What are you going to be ?”引導學學生回答：“I’m going to be a/an …”
Step5: Summary
教師和學生一起總結本課時的教學重點，回顧學過的知識內容。
作業設計：
1.熟練掌握本課時的重點知識內容。、
2. Make a survey
讓學生之間進行調查：
What does your mother do? What does your father /mother do? What are you going to be ?
這是一項集交際、任務、評價等目標于一體的綜合性語言活動。學生通過實踐、參與等途徑，在學習過程中能將外部的操作活動和內部的語言思維活動相結合起來，形成一個學生主體自己操作、自己體驗、自己感悟的過程，最終發展學生的綜合語言運用能力。

教后反思：本課的內容較多，教師在教學過程中應該注意把握好時間，掌握節奏，并且做的重點突出，重點強調Let’s learn部分，而在主題圖和Let’s chant 部分只要求學生會讀、會唱即可，不必作太多的要求。
老師在課堂上應該注意提醒學生細節問題，比如businessman、postman的復數形式，在以元音因素開頭的名詞里，前面要用an，這些都是一些比較容易出錯的地方，老師應該注意給學生強調指出。
