我是x小學(xué)學(xué)生x(女，xx年8月20日出生)，就要成為一名中學(xué)生了，我最大的愿望就是能進(jìn)入x學(xué)習(xí)，因?yàn)橛芯壸屛艺J(rèn)識(shí)了x中學(xué)。20x年夏有幸成為了該校俱樂(lè)部一名會(huì)員，當(dāng)年并代表x中學(xué)參加x在x舉行的中學(xué)生運(yùn)動(dòng)會(huì)(乒乓球比賽項(xiàng)目)，并取得了較好的成績(jī)。
短短幾天的賽事，經(jīng)過(guò)帶隊(duì)教師和隊(duì)友的介紹，使我對(duì)x中學(xué)有了充分的了解，此后，我更加重視學(xué)習(xí)、更加愛(ài)好體育運(yùn)動(dòng)。在我的心里學(xué)習(xí)和運(yùn)動(dòng)已構(gòu)成相互促進(jìn)的動(dòng)力。目前我的乒乓球技術(shù)進(jìn)一步的'提高，20x-20x年已連續(xù)兩年取得x乒乓球比賽女子甲組第二名的好成績(jī)。
乒乓球運(yùn)動(dòng)是我的業(yè)余愛(ài)好，讓學(xué)習(xí)成績(jī)更好是我不斷努力目標(biāo)。有良好的學(xué)習(xí)環(huán)境，就能造就出優(yōu)秀學(xué)習(xí)型人才，城郊中學(xué)是我最夢(mèng)想的選擇該校有團(tuán)結(jié)互助的傳統(tǒng)美德，有"比、學(xué)、趕、超"的學(xué)習(xí)氛圍，更有解疑答難、樂(lè)于施教的好教師和好領(lǐng)導(dǎo)。
機(jī)會(huì)是可遇而不可求的，如果校領(lǐng)導(dǎo)給了我這一次機(jī)會(huì)，我會(huì)不斷總結(jié)經(jīng)驗(yàn)和教訓(xùn)，做好敢吃一切苦的思想準(zhǔn)備，樹(shù)立戰(zhàn)勝一切困難的必勝信心，努力以優(yōu)異的成績(jī)完成三年的初中生活。決不會(huì)讓學(xué)校領(lǐng)導(dǎo)失望。我不明白這種提法是否妥當(dāng)，但懇請(qǐng)領(lǐng)導(dǎo)研究我的申請(qǐng)。

professor li xian recommended that i contact you about your department’sprogram in organic chemistry. i am his assistant and am working in t heinstitute of environmental chemistry, academia sinica, beijing, china.
last year, i graduated from the graduate school of academia sinica with anms degree in modern chemistry. since then i have been studying chemical andbiochemical synthesis of polymer, carbohydrates and natural compounds. this hasenabled me to publish several research papers.
interested in going to the united states for further studies, i am lookingfor a n american university which best suits my purpose . i have read some ofyour books and papers , and have found that your findings and theories are ofguiding importance to my academic pursuits. professor li also told me that yourwide experiences in organic chemistry and the well-equipped laboratories in youruniversity would be of great help to me. i am hoping that there will be anopportunity to study under your guidance for a ph.d. degree. i would appreciateany suggestions you might have for me concerning formal application proceduresor other matters.
